Robinhood, the new film starring actor Nithiin, is set for a digital release on ZEE5 on May 2, according to social media reports.
The Venky Kudumula-directed project, with Sreeleela as the female lead, did not meet revenue targets in theatres after its opening weekend. Neither Mythri Movie Makers nor ZEE5 has confirmed the streaming date, but industry channels suggest the platform will host the film in two weeks.
Analysts note that Robinhood may reach a wider audience online, offering the film a second innings beyond its cinema run.
The cast includes Rajendra Prasad, Vennela Kishore and Devadutt Nage, alongside a cameo by Australian cricketer David Warner. GV Prakash Kumar composed the score for the film, which was produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
